I have been looking for a netbook for about a year now, and after watching the reviews and prices for a long time I finally pulled the trigger on the NC-10 at a little under $400. I could not be happier! Excellent build quality, very good battery life (I'm guessing 5.5-6.5 hours, with brightness turned up to level that's very readable in sunlight), and the performance running XP Pro is better than I expected (I did upgrade to 2GB memory). I think the size is a perfect balance between portability and usability. I really have no complaints, other than I wish I had gotten it sooner. I just received my NC10 yesterday and I couldn't be happier with it. It is lightweight, but seems very sturdy. Even my computer savvy 18 year old son is impressed with it. My biggest fear was that the keyboard and/or mousepad would be too small or awkward (I have fairly big fingers and acrylic nails). They are both fine. The screen is a good size and I think I am going to love everything about this computer. I don't really miss the CD drive as all I really use it for is movies and my son assures me that we can load up several movies onto the computer for when I travel. Very, very nice netbook. My wife loves it. One problem which it, which apparently many people have (and I have too) is the wireless card. It is erratic and I have to restart and repair my wireless networks every so often. The problem I see with it is that if it is called a netbook, then why won't it stay connected?
