I researched netbooks and asked for the Samsung as a Christmas present. It has barely left my hands since then. I was a bit worried about the short screen height, but it isn't usually an issue. The keyboard is fantastic. A piano-playing friend finds the keys too small for his hands; for my smaller female hands it's perfect and takes surprisingly little adaptation, the biggest problem being the placement of the page up/page down keys. I am not happy with the touchpad (too close to the keyboard) and will be buying an external mouse, I think.
I use the NC10 entirely to surf the Net and run OpenOffice; for those needs, it's perfect. It wakes up from hibernation very quickly. Everybody I show it to wants one.Get more detail about
