I purchased this product only 3 months ago. Just this week the battery died. The desktop battery indicator says it is fully charged, but indeed it is empty. When I try to recharge it, it does not because it appears full.
I have read on internet forums the same problem. It seems that Samsung has neglected the battery production. According to other customers they had their batteries replaced by the Samsung Technical Support Center. But in my case I traveled for studying abroad, I can not make effective the warranty.
What botters me is that Samsung, knowing that it is a common problem, does not warn prospective consumers. It does not matter that they are willing to change the defective battery, but I does matter that they do not retire from the market such a faulty battery.
